Creating documents
First off, congrats on creating a new account! 🎉 With your new spiffy profile page, you're ready to get started on on the best part of Authorea---the document editing/creation process. There are two ways you can create new content:
1. Uploading/importing an existing document
Authorea allows you to get started easily by importing a draft you've already created or started working on elsewhere. Have a Google Doc? Import it by copying/pasting the public link. Have a Word doc? Upload the .docx file. If you're not one of the gazillion people writing on Word or Google Docs, don't worry, you can also upload your LaTeX files, Markdown files, and even Tumblr blog posts (yeah, that last one is weird to us too).
